What we built
Tripr is a community-first travel app built for 18–35 year-old Indian travellers. It combines trip discovery, group trips you can join, AI-powered itinerary building with Dora AI, a travel community with groups and events, and a gamified traveller profile — all in a friendly Hinglish voice that asks one simple question: “Kahan chaloge?”
Young Indian travellers plan trips across Instagram reels, WhatsApp groups and a dozen booking sites. Inspiration gets lost in saved folders, finding trustworthy travel companions is hard, and budget-friendly group trips by small agents are almost impossible to discover.
One app that turns inspiration into trips. Users share any reel into Tripr and Dora AI converts it into a trip bucket; they can join verified ongoing trips by agents or individuals, plan their own itinerary with friends, meet like-minded “Tribuddies”, and grow a travel identity through levels and badges.

Dora AI — reel to trip
Share an Instagram or YouTube video and Dora builds a trip bucket by reading it across five layers: OCR, image extraction, scene detection, audio and captions/tags.
Explore & budget trips
Search with categories (Mountains, Beaches, Heritage, Spiritual, Wildlife, Events) and quick filters like Under ₹3,000, Weekend, Solo Friendly and Family.
Tribuddies
Recommended travellers with similar interests and travel style to connect, chat and plan with.
Community & groups
Stories, posts feed, likes/comments/saves, hashtag search, trending groups with their own feed, meetups and media.
Host events
A 5-step Create Event wizard plus a host dashboard for bookings, tickets sold, earnings, promo codes, payouts and boosts.
Gamified, verified profiles
Explorer levels, XP, badges and travel highlights — with KYC verification so trips and hosts can be trusted.
Bookings & trips
Upcoming, completed and cancelled bookings with receipts, itinerary and in-app support.

Riya sees a reel of Spiti Valley. Instead of saving it on Instagram, she taps Share → Tripr. Dora AI reads the on-screen text, detects mountain scenery and road-trip shots, picks up place names from the audio and caption, and creates a “Spiti Road Trip” bucket.

Aman opens Explore and applies Weekend + Solo Friendly + Under ₹3,000. He finds a Rishikesh trip hosted by a local agent, checks the host’s KYC badge, ratings and the members who already joined, then books his seat.
